Names are important: for people, for products, for businesses…and apparently for blogs as well. With so many blogs out there (I’ve read that there’s over 50 million of them), it is critical to get the right name for your blog. It helps it stand out in the crowd a bit.
Hannah is a 19-year old who was considering starting her own blog, but was waiting for inspiration to provide her with the perfect name. She said, “I’m not going to start a blog until I have a name I love.” The thing is, inspiration doesn’t always arrive in ways that we expect. We may be looking for an earth-shattering event, but inspiration oftentimes tiptoes into the room more quietly than that. The trick is whether or not you’re paying attention. Hannah obviously was because she said, “Late one night in November “Honey & Jam” popped into my head. I was drinking tea – with honey and eating toast – with jam. It just worked. It fit me somehow.”
Good thing for her the domain name was available because her site is now listed on Hunch’s Most Popular Blogs. And it’s no wonder. Hannah’s Honey and Jam blog includes photography and recipes for anything from Amazing Pumpkin Bread to Chocolate Chip Cookies. I’ve already bookmarked some of these delicious-looking recipes and looking forward to converting them to VC format (vegan cooking).![]()
