An afternoon on the deck with a glass of lemonade perusing an old magazine was the inspiration for veganizing a new recipe. I highly recommend my latest recipe on One Green Planet, Rosemary Lemon Sandwich Cookies. One Green Planet is spreading good ideas that benefit people, animals, and the planet. Me? I’m simply spreading lemon filling between two rosemary-infused shortbread cookies. Hey, we all have to have our priorities!
I’m convinced that some of the leftover lemon filling would taste delicious spread over my Fruity Pancakes. I hope you like this month’s OGP vegan recipe!![]()
How wild! I was just browsing Tastespotting and saw your link. I am the one who came up with the original version of this recipe! So neat to hear that there is now a vegan way to enjoy it as well. Thanks for posting!

I always love putting herbs in desserts. Makes them so much more beguiling in flavor. And you can’t beat the combo of rosemary and lemon.

I’ve never used herbs in a cookie before, but these may make me give it a try. They look so fresh tasting and delicious!
